Embracing the Legacy

Wednesday, October, 26, 2022

Boston, MA

Join us to celebrate the work of RFK Community Alliance and honor people whose extraordinary actions reflect the social values and hopes of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy. Each honoree is dedicated to making positive impacts on the lives of people whose challenges and needs often go unseen, by raising awareness, fighting against social injustices, and advocating for those who don’t have a voice. We honor this work because every person has value and deserves dignity.

Please join us in congratulating the 2022 Embracing the Legacy honorees:

Nora Baston, Superintendent, Boston Police Department

Jay Calnan, CEO, J. Calnan & Associates and Co-Founder, Team Impact

Edward Loughran (posthumous), Founder, Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators

Marylou Sudders, Secretary of Health & Human Services for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

We will also honor Ed Kelley, retired CEO of RFK Children’s Action Corps, with our Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of dedicated service to children and families.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and will be followed by awards and dinner. Dress is cocktail/business attire.

“The future does not belong to those who are content with today, apathetic toward common problems and their fellow man alike, timid and fearful in the face of new ideas and bold projects. Rather, it will belong to those who can blend passion, reason and courage in a personal commitment to ideals.”

- Robert F. Kennedy
