Rodman Ride for Kids

Rodman Ride for Kids

Bike the Rodman Ride for Kids on behalf of RFK Community Alliance

The Rodman Ride for Kids is an all-day cycling event (25 or 50 miles) starting and ending in Foxboro, MA. In order to participate on behalf of RFK Community Alliance in the Rodman Ride (every dollar raised comes directly to us), individuals and team riders raise money for the children and families served by our programs.

We are proud to have been a founding member of the Rodman Ride, which has raised over $180 million for youth-serving agencies since its inception more than 30 years ago.

Even if you can’t ride on race-day, become a Virtual Rider or Choose Your Own Adventure! This is a great way to get kids and adults outside exercising while connecting with others for a great cause. You don’t even have to ride bikes. You can shoot baskets, swim laps, jump rope, sell lemonade…the sky’s the limit!

I have participated in the Ride For Kids for close to twenty years. During this time I’ve been at four different law firms and have created teams at each of these firms. Having employees participate in the ride is a wonderful and effective team-building exercise. The combination of working together to achieve a goal (fundraising for a worthy cause) while participating in a healthy and fun event (the bike ride) and then having a party afterwards (hosted by some of the beneficiaries of the ride) is a sure-fire recipe for success. The employees who participate (either by riding or by donating) feel closer to one another and better about themselves.
